How to Measure Your Head
For the most accurate fit, use a flexible tape measure (or a piece of string you can then measure against a ruler):
- Wrap the tape measure around your head, approximately 2–3 cm above your ears and across your forehead — this is where a hat sits.
- Keep the tape snug but not tight.
- Note the measurement in centimetres. If you're between sizes, size up.

Fit Tips
- Between sizes? Always size up — a slightly loose hat can be adjusted with a hat liner or sizing tape; a too-small hat cannot.
- Stetson styles (e.g., The Boss 1865): These run slightly smaller than standard. We recommend sizing up 1 size.
- Fur felt hats: Fur felt has a small amount of natural give and will mould gently to your head over time.
- Wool felt hats: Tend to be true to size with less stretch than fur felt.
